Welcome To A Place Where You Can Be Yourself.
I’m Alyssa Howard, a licensed therapist in Hamilton and the founder of Grounding Place Therapy. My work is rooted in empathy, care, and deep respect for the lived experiences of those I support, especially when they haven’t always felt fully understood in therapeutic spaces.
I support racialized adults, members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, immigrants and children of immigrants, and couples navigating identity, burnout, and relationship strain. My approach draws from Narrative Therapy, ACT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy and is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and honesty.
My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your relationships, and more at ease in your day-to-day life.
Support in Hamilton is here when you're ready
