I’m Alyssa, the therapist behind this space. I’m glad you’re here.

I focus on helping individuals slow down and reconnect with themselves. Many of my clients have spent a long time neglecting their own needs, often due to a lack of safety in being their authentic selves or because they’ve given so much to others that self-care becomes an afterthought.

My goal is to support you in finding the rest and care you deserve. Together we’ll discover the tools you need to live well, feel grounded, and stay connected to what truly matters in your life.

My Services

I offer psychotherapy services for individuals and couples (18+), available both in-person in Hamilton and virtually across Ontario.

Who I Work With

I often support:

  • Professionals and caregivers: Including parents, eldest or older siblings, community leaders, and helping professionals facing burnout.

  • Individuals exploring identity: Those navigating themes around race, gender, and/or sexuality.

  • Couples: Partners working through cultural differences and seeking deeper connection.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, warmth, and genuine care. I bring my authentic self to each session, including my sense of humor, to create a comfortable and supportive environment. While I’m here to support you, I’ll also gently challenge you to implement change and celebrate your progress along the way.

How I Can Help

I assist individuals and couples in understanding the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of their emotions. Together, we’ll process past experiences, cultivate compassion for the ways you’ve coped, and develop new strategies to care for yourself moving forward.
